Hans Muller Art Nouveau sculpture of the Austrian sculptor Hans Müller (1873-1937). Hans Müller studied as an apprentice of Edmund Hellmmer at the Vienna Art Academy and was best known for his busts of famous people from the Viennese society such as his bust of Beethoven and the poet Robert Burns, but also of Napoleon Bonaparte.

Born into an artistic Viennese family was influenced by his father, a sculptor, to become sculptor, as well. He is best known for his bronze busts of the Viennese society but also did some of Napoleon and sculpted animals and birds. This piece was acquired from a Palm Beach collection and is by the Austrian sculptor Hans Muller. Hans Josephsohn (May 1920 - 20 August 2012) was a Swiss sculptor who lived and worked in Zurich. Josephsohn was born in Königsberg (today's Kaliningrad), East Prussia. Here he attended elementary school and completed high school in 1937. That same year, he left his homeland and moved to Florence with a small scholarship, in order to study art.
